Happy 2012 moms!
WOW I can't believe another year has gone by! Sometimes I wish I could stop time in its tracks. Christmas was awesome in the Cirone house; we had 10 people and a whole bundle of chaos. Anthony thought it would be fun to open everyone's presents two weeks early, needless to say it involved a lot of extra wrapping. As for Mr. Jake, he was a happy little man who just smiled away. I am so grateful to my family for all their love! On another note, I am very disappointed in my neighborhood. I live amongst a bunch of grinches. I have yet to understand how we were the only home on the block with lights. It doesn't matter what you celebrate, a little cheer is much appreciated from the neighbors. However, moving into the New Year is fun. It's a clean slate, and a time to reflect on the wonderful memories we have created. I loved hearing moms tell me about the trips they squeezed into what was left of 2011, and I look forward to more.
The board and I are thrilled to have had such a successful sock drive; we want to thank all of you for your generous donations. I delivered the socks to the children the week before Christmas, it was perfect.
A quick reminder about our school review coming up, we need as many moms as possible to speak about the schools their children have attended, including elementary. We are looking for the pros and cons of each PV school. We could really use the support this month from all our members; I hope to see you all at the general meeting!
Anyone for tumblers (0-1 playgroup)??? Please contact me right away so I can get that all set up!
Lastly, make sure to save up all your gently used stuff for our special garage sale in April!!! If you can't stand the site of "stuff", drop it off at my house and I will hold it till then. We will be having it at my house.
We are proud to announce that MOMS Club has so far raised OVER $1000! YIPPIE! GO MOMS!
I hope your holiday as filled with just as much joy as mine was. Happy 2012 and I hope to see everyone at the play dates and the general meeting!
Warm Regards,
Sara Cirone President
